Born in 1984, the artist Jarvis Lain is from Amiens, France.

His parents moved to Burgundy where Jarvis studied.
He enrolls in the conservatory's jazz department of Dijon, plays saxophone in several bands, guitar in his bedroom and drums in the garage as any teenager worthy of the name.

In 2007 he moved to Brussels, Belgium.
He begins to publish some tracks on the internet, under different nicks.
The last one was the best : Jarvislain.

Pandora marks the beginning of an original and personal production. From day one, Jarvislain infuses a narrative dimension to his universe.

Jarvis comes from the Marvel's Universe Iron Man.
Lain refers to the manga Serial Experiment Lain.
Jarvislain is a fictional character, evolving in an imaginary world, mostly inspired by science fiction.

At the crossroads, Jarvis advocates openness, with rich influences, marked by the IDM of the 2000s as much as jazz or contemporary music.
In 2010 he moved to Paris where he met and started to create with another producer, Yomi, who became his sidekick on the next assault, Gufftmachine, dropped on earth in 2012.
Both retro and futuristic, this second E.P praises big beats and synthetic materials.
This little nugget sounds like a forgotten audio tape, discovered a thousand years later during an archaeological dig.

2015 is a turning point. Always more experimental, Jarvis clears and feeds his music with parallel stories.
LODLAV means L'Odyssée de l'Avant in french. It's the first opus of a triptych, a second part will be released in 2018.

In LODLS, Jarvislain tells us about 20100, an artificial intelligence that far exceeds the expectations that its designers placed in it.
Composed in Lyon and produced entirely in the city of Le Puy en Velay, the atmosphere both urban and fairy reveals the different facets of an electro artist to follow.
